Loreena McKennitt’s The Road Back Home
In 2023, Loreena appeared at four Ontario folk festivals performing some of the earliest material from her career - the most traditional of Celtic music, along with favourite tunesets from The Bookends. Loreena invited along cellist Caroline Lavelle, bodhran player Romano Di Nillo and The Bookends.
These concerts were captured live and The Road Back Home was released in January 2024.

Loreena McKennitt’s Under A Winter’s Moon
Recorded live during a series of seasonal concerts in a historic church sanctuary around the time of the solstice in December 2021. The two-disc package features approximately an hour’s worth of msuic and half an hour of spoken word which intertwine to create a unique and evocative seasonal listening experience. The Bookends, together with cellist Caroline Lavelle, and percussionist Graham Hargrove provide their musical and vocal accompaniment on this beautiful album along with Cedric Smith’s performance of A Child’s Christmas in Wales.
